The short version
- Clunkers is free to play. Have fun, play fair, and be decent to other players.
- No cheating, hacking or attacking the servers. Keep your name clean.
- The game can change, and scores can be reset. It comes as it is.
- Ads keep it free. Nothing is for sale today.
Agreeing to these terms
By playing Clunkers (at clunkers.io or on another site such as CrazyGames) you agree to these terms and to our privacy page. If you don't agree, please don't play. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, please make sure a parent or guardian is okay with you playing.
Play fair
You agree not to:
- cheat: use bots, scripts, modified game files, or bugs to get an unfair advantage;
- hack, overload, scan or attack our servers or website, or try to reach parts of them that aren't meant for players;
- pretend to be someone else, including us, CrazyGames, or another player;
- use a name that's hateful, sexual, threatening, or contains someone's personal information;
- use the game to harass anyone.
If someone breaks these rules, we may remove them from a match, block them from playing, or reset their score, without warning. If you find a bug that could be abused, please tell us at [email protected] instead.
Player names
You choose your player name, and it's shown to everyone in your match. A filter replaces offensive words, but you are still responsible for your name. We may change or remove any name.
Playing with friends
Party codes and invite links let anyone who has them join your party while it's open. Share them only with people you want to play with.
Ads
Clunkers shows ads to stay free: on the menu, as a video you can choose to watch to come back after being wrecked, and sometimes as a short video between lives, never during a match. Please don't tamper with them. See the privacy page for cookies and your choices.
Purchases
There's nothing to buy in Clunkers today. If we add optional purchases later (for example cosmetic items), these rules will apply, and we'll update this page before they start:
- Items you buy are a licence to use them in the game. They have no value outside the game and can't be traded or exchanged for money.
- Payments will be handled by the platform you play on or a payment company, under their terms.
- Refunds will follow the law where you live and the platform's refund rules.
Playing on CrazyGames
When you play Clunkers on CrazyGames, the CrazyGames terms apply too, including for your CrazyGames account and the ads they show.
The game can change
Clunkers is a game in progress. We may add, change or remove features, rebalance ships and weapons, reset scores and leaderboards, take servers down for updates, or stop running the game. Your best scores are saved in your browser (or your CrazyGames account), so clearing your browser's data removes them.
Our stuff
The Clunkers game, its name, art, sounds and code belong to us. You're welcome to share screenshots, clips and videos of your games, including on YouTube or streams. Please don't copy the game itself or pass it off as yours.
No guarantees
Clunkers is provided "as is", for fun. We do our best, but we can't promise it will always work, be available, or be free of bugs. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for any loss or damage from playing it or not being able to play it. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Big changes will be mentioned in the game. Playing after a change means you accept the new terms.
